 =^^= woot! as of the 13th, the LoC is now 4 years of age! (or about 27 in cat years)
To celebrate well be having a party on Guardian Server at 8pm EST (5pm PST) this Saturday, the 17th of May!!

 As of April 28th, City of Heroes is now officially 4 years of age! For the next month all characters that log in will get the year 4 badge accolade!!
>.> of course, this also means that the Legion of Catgirls 4 year anniversary is also just around the corner.. so look forward to another cat party soon!

Even if your not, the new power sets and costuming features are open for all to mess with, just start the character creation possess!
(On a side note, please try and recruit any kitties you see, our numbers are dipping a bit and there are a lot of new players joining the game!)

Issue 11 goes Live! |

As many have seen, Issue 11 has hit the live servers! At about 12pm EST Nov 28th the new issue was officially live and the flashback and Ourobos missions began.
In addition to the new issue, a free costume token for every costume owned is being issued on friday, on the 7th, a free respec token will be issued, and on the 10th, 20k prestige will be granted for each person in an sg to that sg!

sleepy kitty writes "=^^= mew all! This sunday, the 13th of May, the Legion of Catgirls will be 3 years old!!! To celebrate the occasion, we will be having our annual anniversary kitty dance on Guardian server at 6pm EST/EDT.
Since this event often attracts new kitties, early sunday morning LoC chapters on guardian will have a bit of cleaning of MIA characters (members over 40 month of non login), so please take the time to log any alts on that server in on saturday! (if you can't, please contact the local Alpha kitty before hand).
Feel free to bring refreshments, tuna, or the random Norwegian Blue. More information about the party can be found on the forums, lets get our third year off to a good start!"

o.o well, issue 9 is now accessible on test server. The closed testing session is now over and anyone can log in and putter around the auction house or university. While a rather small update (its almost entirely new enhancements), there are some new things to do, and alot of fun new emotes.

Double Xp (and inf/prestige) weekend begins this Friday (January 26, 2007) at 11:59 AM EST and run till Sunday (January 28, 2007) at 11:59 PM EST.
Pinnacle Chapter will be plowing TFs on Sat starting with Positron's and swapping to next as ppl max lvl for the tf for as long as ppl want to do this. On Sunday, they'll swap over and do the same villain side! For more info, check the pinnacle section of our forums, or contact Anna Puma.
Guardian chapter on Sat will be running a 25-30 lvl TF, then a 30-35 lvl tf. At this time no set plans have been suggested for Sun. For more information, contact @War.
If anyone wants to schedule an event for the weekend, please contact @Sleepy Kitty!

| At 8:16 am eastern time today, the servers have gone down to apply the patch for the live release of Issue 8! Once they're back up, come just everyone acting like loons over the new prizes!!
